Online Blackjack

The objective of online Blackjack is to draw cards (hit) until the cards in your hand add up to 21 or as close to 21 as possible. You will play online blackjack against the dealer directly, independently of the other players. If your first two cards total 21, you have a Blackjack.

Online Blackjack, The Rules
Once you have set your initial bet, the dealer will deal two cards to you and to himself. The player's cards are dealt face up. The dealer's first card is dealt face down.
The Ace can be used as a 1 or 11 points. The King, Queen, Jack and Ten are 10 points each. So if you are dealt an Ace plus a 4, you'll have either 5 or 15 points. If you are dealt a 7 plus a Jack, you'll have 17 points. If you are dealt an Ace plus a Queen, you're in luck, because you have a Blackjack.
Now you can choose to refuse any other cards (stand) or accept another card (hit). If you 'stand', you will not receive any more cards. If you 'hit' you will get another cards which you will have to add up to your points.
Cards are dealt until you ' stand' or your cards exceed 21 points (bust). When you bust, you immediately lose your bet regardless of the dealer's hand result. After the player's final actions, the dealer reveals the down card.

If the dealer's points are 16 or less, the dealer must continue to 'hit' until he reaches 17 or more. The dealer must stand on 17 or higher and cannot take additional cards. If the dealer exceeds 21 (bust), and the player has stood without busting, the player wins. When the dealer stands on 17 or greater and has a higher count than the player - the dealer win. If the player has the higher count - the player wins. If the player and the dealer have the same totals, it's a tie (push).

Online Blackjack Options
Split: If you get two cards with equal values, you will have the option to 'split' them into two separate hands. In order to 'split', you'll have to bet again your initial bet. Each hand is then played separately. If you split two Aces, only one more card is dealt to each hand. You can only be split once.

Double Down: You may double on their first two cards other than a Blackjack. When you double, only one more card is dealt and your original bet has to be matched. Basically, you bet that the hand can be won with one more card. You can also "double down" after "splitting" a pair.

Insurance: When the dealer's up card is an ace, you are offered 'insurance'. Taking an insurance means you make a second bet (half the original bet) that the dealer's face down card is a ten card. If this is the case, you are paid 2 to 1 on the insurance bet and your initial bet loses as it is beaten by the dealer's Blackjack. If the dealer does not have a natural Blackjack, your insurance bet is lost and the game is played out as normal.

Even Money: If you have a Blackjack and the dealer's up card is an Ace, you are offered 'even money'. Taking even money means you will be paid 1 to 1 on the Blackjack and not 3 to 2 as normal. Taking even money means you expect the dealer's face down card to be a ten card. If you choose not to take even money and the dealer reveals a Blackjack, it's a tie. If no even money is taken and the dealer has no Blackjack, the player is paid at 3 to 2.
